I first want to start off by saying how excited I am to be the new Principal of Mission Middle and High School. We started the year off with a bang and we're not slowing down. The first day of school we held an assembly where we went over flag etiquette, assembly expectations, all staff were introduced, I reviewed my expectations of students for the year, and we held class competitions. The Freshman went through a four day orientation introducing them to high school and all things important to their learning and success as a student. We capped the week off with an all-school barbecue, where numerous parent volunteers showed up and helped out. Students are working hard in their classes and rally into the groove of things. Homecoming is fast approaching and we are preparing for that as I write. I want to congratulate the students and staff on the achievement of being selected as a Gold School by the Montana Behavioral Initiative. Mid-term for 1st quarter is September 29th. Student progress reports, the newsletter and school calendar of events will be mailed out on Friday, October 2nd.
